(NYSE:MYL) announced today that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has granted final approval for its Abbreviated New Drug Application for Midodrine Hydrochloride Tablets in 2.5 mg, 5 mg and 10 mg strengths. Midodrine Hydrochloride is the generic version of Shire Pharmaceuticals ProAmatine^®.

Mylan will be launching Midodrine Hydrochloride Tablets immediately.
