Wendy Cameron Elected to Mylan Laboratories' Board of Directors; Board is Increased to 11
Ms. Cameron's appointment increases the Board to 11 members.
Ms. Cameron served for 18 years as Vice President, Divisional Sales and Governmental Affairs, for Cameron Coca-Cola Bottling Company, Inc., Pittsburgh, PA, which ranked among the top ten percent of all bottlers in the United States in total sales.
While at Cameron Coca-Cola, Ms. Cameron was responsible for the operations and sales efforts of the West Virginia, Ohio and Uniontown, Pennsylvania sales centers. In addition, she led the company's Federal, West Virginia, Ohio and Pennsylvania legislative action as a representative on the Soft Drink Associations Board and chaired the Ohio committee responsible for the successful constitutional amendment to repeal the Ohio Soft Drink Excise Tax in 1995. She was also instrumental in stopping an increase in the West Virginia soft drink excise tax in 1988.
Currently, Ms. Cameron serves as a member of the board of the Washington Hospital Foundation and as a member of the Neal Recreation Building Committee.
Ms. Cameron graduated from Otterbein College with Bachelor of Science degrees in Business Management and Equine Science in 1981. She and her husband Michael have two children and live in Washington, Pennsylvania.
