Mark W. Parrish Joins Mylan's Board of Directors
PITTSBURGH, Sept 01, 2009 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX News Network/ -- Mylan Inc. (Nasdaq: MYL) today announced that Mark W. Parrish, chairman and CEO of Trident USA Health Services, the nation's largest provider of mobile X-ray and laboratory services to the long-term care industry, has joined Mylan's Board of Directors. In addition to his current role at Trident, Parrish also is president of the International Federation of Pharmaceutical Wholesalers, an association comprised of the largest pharmaceutical wholesalers and pharmaceutical supply chain service companies in the world. He also serves as a senior adviser to Frazier Healthcare Ventures, a health care oriented growth equity firm, and as a director of Biovail Corporation.
Previously, Parrish was CEO of Healthcare Supply Chain Services for Cardinal Health, a $91 billion global manufacturer and distributor of medical and surgical supplies and technologies. Parrish also held a variety of other leadership roles at Cardinal Health including group president, Pharmaceutical Supply Chain Services; president and chief operating officer, Pharmaceutical Supply Chain Services; chairman and CEO, Pharmaceutical Distribution and Provider Services; executive vice president and group president, Pharmaceutical Distribution; and president, Medicine Shoppe.
