(NYSE: MYL) today announced that Mylan Pharmaceuticals Inc. has launched Quinapril Tablets USP, 5mg, 10mg, 20mg and 40mg strengths, and Quinapril Hydrochloride (HCl) and Hydrochlorothiazide (HCTZ) Tablets, 10mg/12.5mg, 20mg/12.5mg and 20mg/25mg strengths.

Quinapril Tablets and Quinapril HCl and HCTZ Tablets are the generic versions of Pfizer's Accupril ^® and Accuretic^® Tablets, respectively. Quinapril Tablets had U.S. sales of approximately $193 million for the 12 months ending December 2006. Quinapril HCl and HCTZ Tablets had U.S. sales of approximately $37 million for the 12 months ending December 2006.
