(NYSE: MYL) today announced that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has granted tentative approval for Mylan Pharmaceuticals Inc.'s Abbreviated New Drug Application for Pioglitazone Hydrochloride Tablets, 15 mg, 30 mg, and 45 mg.

Pioglitazone Hydrochloride Tablets are the generic version of Takeda Pharmaceuticals' Actos® Tablets.
